Revenue

Head Porter is currently negotiating with a large number of major brands and media/marketing agencies. The combined weight of our 52 current partners, with a total population of over 500,000 students means we expect to generate significant marketing revenue in the 2004-2005 academic year. Head Porter operates a One Third revenue share with its student union partners on any income generated by SMS or email advertising to students.

In addition to sourcing advertisers ourselves, we encourage our partners to generate revenue locally. In this case, your Union receives one third of any income generated through sending messages through our technology.

Allowing external companies to advertise to student members is not a condition of joining Head Porter. If you wish, your union can simply make use of the Head Porter system for internal communications.
